1. What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the Platform: your username, email address, role (donor / charity / admin), and display name at registration. Charity accounts additionally provide organisation name, registration number, contact details, and a description.

2. Blockchain Data

Donation transactions are recorded on the Tron public blockchain. Wallet addresses and transaction hashes are permanently public. We do not associate your legal identity with your on-chain address in any public-facing display.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to: authenticate your account, display your profile within the Platform, process transactions, and send transactional emails (e.g. password reset). We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Storage & Security

Data is stored on secured servers. Access tokens are stored in your browser's localStorage and are scoped to this domain. Passwords are hashed with a strong one-way algorithm and never stored in plaintext. We use TLS/HTTPS for all data in transit.

5. Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The Platform may use essential browser storage (localStorage) for authentication tokens only.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion by contacting support. Note that on-chain transaction records cannot be deleted as they are permanently recorded on the Tron blockchain.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Submit requests to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Third-Party Services

The Platform links to TronScan (tronscan.org) for on-chain verification. TronScan is an independent service with its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party data practices.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance.
